My name is Mary and I have been knitting since the age of 14 thanks to my Mom who had the patience and wisdom to never give up. Her favorite saying was 'not too tight - keep it loose'. After many years of missing stitches and knitting too tight and ripping out stitches to start over again (thinking this is suppose to be relaxing) I finally got the hang of it and have been knitting ever since.
I must admit, it really is relaxing and very satifying to see the final product, but most of all my greatest thrill is to see how happy people are when they receive their final creation.
